Blue Tip by The Cars

After 24 years, The Cars are soon putting out a new album: Move Like This.

Is it just me or is 2011 shaping up to be a really, really good year for music? Only a couple of months into it, and we've got great albums from The Decemberists, Wire, Gang of Four, Edie Brickell and more potentially great albums coming from Beth Orton, Evanescence, First Aid Kit, Neil Young and The Cars. Add to that whatever Jack White is going to be up to and I'm pleased. Lot's of great old bands coming back after 20 years or more (like The Vaselines in 2010) and a lot of great new bands, too, it seems to me.
